After surviving violence or abuse, you come to a crossroads. You have survived, but now what? How do you pick up the pieces of your life? How do you keep going?

If you are a business owner, teacher, healthcare worker, real estate agent, or even a student, our situational self-defense training is tailored to meet your needs. We understand the importance of integrating self-defense training into health and wellness programs while maintaining a focus on personal safety and protection.

Sometimes it can be hard to have faith in your abilities, especially when you're stressed out and overworked. This class is designed to build physical and mental confidence like you’ve never had before.
Heian Karate Do teaches self-protection skills in a safe environment, and in collaboration with local law enforcement, lawyers and other experienced community leaders from across the country.

Why is our program a powerful self-defense system?
Our program is based on decades of research and development in the real world. We provide training from various local and national friends from the martial arts world and community partners. You'll feel more confident, armed with the knowledge that you can handle yourself in any situation you might be confronted with.
Classes are usually repetitive, so will it be boring?
Our program is extremely different from others. In a typical program, you may get a workout, but you're not really learning much. Our program puts you first, keeping you excited and motivated to keep things engaging, especially when learning real practical skills that could save your life one day.
How old can I be to benefit from this program?
The great thing about all our programs are that everyone is treated as an individual. We have students as young as 4 and as old as 80! Everyone progresses at their own rate and can have a wonderful experience whether physically, mentally or emotionally.
